A really unique and beautiful universal tide clock that's unlike any of the others on the market.
Made from multiple layers to give it a good amount of depth it has a rich, velvety green coloured backing to really show off the lace-cut dial and unique hand. The single hand is dark stained with antiqued gold edging that really makes the detailing pop and adds a bit of extra class. The movement just needs a AA battery and the clock will keep in sync with the tides in your area wherever you are on whatever coast. Just look up the high tide time for your own location, set the hand and start the clock. The hand position can also be changed using the small dial on the back of the mechanism. Please note that the movement is not a standard 12 hour rotation as in normal clocks but the hand rotates once per 12hours and 25 minutes (approx) to mirror the flow of the tides. As with all tide clocks, it runs on an average tide cycle and the hand may need a bit of a nudge round a bit every few months.
